PM to address public meetings at Okara, Shergarh on 29th

OKARA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address public meetings at Okara and Shergarh on April 29.
It was told by MNA from Shergarh Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and Ch Muhammad Arshad Iqbal, ex-OCCI president and uncle of MNA Ch Riazul Haq Juj, here on Tuesday. MNA Syed Ashiq Hussain said that the PM would inaugurate wheat harvesting at Shergarh. Later, he would address a public meeting and visit the shrine of Hazrat Daud Bandgai (RA) to offer Salam, he added. Ch Arshad Iqbal said that after the visit of Shergarh, the PM would arrive at Okara on the invitation of his MNA nephew Ch Riazul Haq Juj and would address a public meeting. Meanwhile, the district administration had adopted strict security arrangements for the PM visits.
Burnt to death

OKARA: A four-year-old girl was burnt to death when a fire broke out in a residential quarter of the District Jail here on Monday night.
The fire broke out in the residential quarter of Muhammad Dilshad, an employee of the District Jail, due to gas leakage. As a result, Saima, daughter of Dilshad, was burnt to death. Later, fire fighters extinguished the fire.
