The Islamabad Capital Territory Senior Citizens Bill, 2021 was aimed at protecting the rights of senior citizens residing in the capital. Unfortunately, the execution of the promises made in the act has, in my opinion, been found wanting.
It seems that like all the promises made by our governments, these too will not fully materialize. However one still hopes that these promises will be fulfilled, across the country, within one’s life.
