LAHORE: Iffat Tahira Soomro, an independent candidate from NA-155, Lodhran, announced on Tuesday that she would withdraw in favour of IPP leader Jehangir Khan Tareen.
She announced this after meeting Jehangir Khan Tareen. Tareen, the head of the IPP, is facing PMLN’s Siddique Baloch and PTI-backed Pir Iqbal Shah for this seat. However, in NA-149, Multan, and Tareen is the joint candidate of the IPP and PMLN.
