One wonders why so many electricity feeders in Karachi and other cities in Pakistan trip even after a little rain? Many cities in East Asia and Europe get heavy rains but we do not hear of any power outages.
Obviously, rain alone cannot be blamed for the outages and perhaps quality and maintenance of the feeders could be the main issue. The energy authorities should sit together and try to find a workable solution to this chronic problem.
