ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear today (Tuesday) petition filed by PTI candidates Ali Bokhari and Shoaib Shaheen against non-provision of level playing field to them.
Election Commission (EC) authorities will appear in the case. The court has already halted the concerned authorities from harassing PTI workers.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamir Farooq had summoned SSP operation and EC authorities. Justice Aamir Farooq had heard the case.
The petitioners are senior members of bar and senior lawyers.
Shoaib Shaheen and Ali Bokhari had filed petition against hindrance in election. During hearing Shoaib and Bokhari told the court police are not refraining from harassing them.
Whenever PTI workers hold corner meeting police will chase them and we have told them that we are not Qabza group.
IHC CJ asked them to whom he should call and to whom he should issue order. These two leaders requested to call SSP. Call police authorities of Shahzad Town and Rural.
