Transgender suffocated to death

LAHORE : A transgender suffocated to death due to gas leakage in a flat in the Faisal Town area. Two persons were present in the room in Kotha Pind flats when LPG started leaking and the room was filled with it.

As a result, two persons were affected and their condition deteriorated. Nearby people alerted Rescue 1122.

The Rescue teams shifted them to hospital where a victim Jazzy died.

Man shot at, injured

A man shot at and injured a 28-year-old man for marrying his niece in the Naulakha area.

Reportedly, the victim Nazakat had contracted a marriage of choice with niece of the suspect Zakir. After a brief exchange of harsh words the suspect shot at and injured the victim. The victim was shifted to hospital. Police said that an attempt to murder case was registered against the suspect.

Three suspects of firing arrested

All three suspects involved in firing at a traffic warden over a minor issue in Samanabad were arrested.

The arrested suspects were identified as Arsalan, Ehsan alias Zain, and Ghulam Hussain alias Sonu. The suspects were stopped by a traffic warden Sardar over violation. When he tried to issue them a challan they had an exchange of harsh words and opened fire at the warden. The suspects later on fled the scene. An FIR was registered and police after identifying the suspects using information technology identified and arrested them.
