Mian Iftikhar hopes people to vote for ANP
NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) central secretary general and PK-89 candidate Mian Iftikhar Hussain said on Saturday his party had always pursued ideological politics.
He said this while speaking at gatherings related to the upcoming general elections at Khadarzai, Amankot, Wapda Town, Akbarpura and other areas.
Several political workers left their parties and announced joining the ANP on the occasions. Among them were a religious scholar, Faizur Rehman Madani. The activists vowed to support Mian Iftikhar in the February 8 general elections. Mian Iftikhar thanked the new entrants to the ANP and thanked them for their decision. He said their decision to join the ANP showed their trust in the party.
The ANP candidate enumerated his party services to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said it was his party that had secured rights for the province in year 2010 through the 18th Constitutional Amendment.
Mian Iftikhar hoped the people would vote for ANP in the general elections and provide them an opportunity to work for their welfare.
