ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Friday served a notice on the PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, asking her to join an inquiry at its Cybercrime Wing.
Aleema has been summoned on Saturday (today) to clear her position following the accusation of creating public disturbance through the social media. Sources in the FIA said an inquiry had been ordered against Aleema in the state’s case, for intimidation, disorder and fear-mongering.
The notice says Aleema Khan should appear at the FIA Cyber Crime Reporting Center at 11am on February 3. In case of non-appearance, it would be assumed that she had nothing to say in her defense. The people engaged in handling the case said an FIR would be lodged if she failed to clear her position.
