PTI candidate withdraws in favour of MQM-P in PS-91 Korangi
The MQM-P candidate commented that the state should give those who had been misled another opportunity to work for the country
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate for PS-91, Syed Hammad Hussain, has withdrawn in favour of his Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan (MQM-P) counterpart Muhammad Abubakar.
Speaking at a press conference at the MQM-P’s election office, Pakistan House on Friday, Hussain opined that as a social worker, he believed it was best to withdraw from the constituency in favour of Abubakar.
“If you cannot complete a task fully, it is better to withdraw from it,” the former PTI’s candidate said, adding that he would continue his work for societal progress. He expressed the hope that he would get the opportunity to work for the country in the future. Hussain was contesting from the Korangi-II constituency as an independent candidate backed by the PTI. He was granted the electoral symbol of key chain.
The MQM-P candidate commented that the state should give those who had been misled another opportunity to work for the country.
