Insurance Ombudsman moot ends
Dr Jameel says meeting of Board of Directors of OIC Ombudsman Association will prove to have far-reaching results
KARACHI: The 10th annual meeting of the OIC Insurance Ombudsman Association concluded in Islamabad with a call to expand the cooperation and exchange of best practices among its members.
The two-day meeting, which ended on January 30, was chaired by Turkey's Chief Ombudsman eref Malkoç and attended by ombudsmen from Indonesia, Morocco, Bahrain and Azerbaijan, according to a statement from Pakistan's Federal Insurance Ombudsman Dr. Muhammad Khawar Jameel.
Dr. Jameel said the meeting of the Board of Directors of the OIC Ombudsman Association will prove to have far-reaching results.
The memeber countries received information regarding the performance of the Federal Insurance Ombudsman in Pakistan.
Dr. Jameel said the next meetings of the association will be held in Morocco in late 2024 and in Iran in 2025.
