21 terrorists killed in Mach operation so far

Security forces in the vicinity were immediately mobilized, who are carrying out an operation

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed another 12 terrorists, taking the tally to 21 during the clearance operation after the terrorist attack on the Mach Complex in Balochistan.

On the night between Monday and Tuesday, multiple terrorists, including suicide bombers, attacked Mach and Kolpur complexes in Balochistan, which was effectively responded by the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).

Security forces in the vicinity were immediately mobilized, who are carrying out an operation. Nine terrorists, including three suicide bombers, were killed, while according to reports another 12 terrorists have been eliminated. During an intense exchange of fire, four brave members of LEAs, having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat along with two innocent civilians.

The clearance operation would continue till the elimination of last terrorist in the area. “Bravery of soldiers further strengthens our resolve in the war against terrorism,” the Inter-Services Public Relations in a statement said.

Meanwhile, funeral prayers of Lance Naik Rehmatullah, resident of district Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Zaman, resident of district Tank, were offered at Headquarters FC Balochistan (North), Quetta. Both soldiers embraced Shahadat while fighting the terrorists in Mach. Senior serving military officers, soldiers, and large number of locals of the area attended the funeral. Later, bodies of the Shuhada were dispatched to their hometowns, where they would be laid to rest with full military honour.
