Wife sent to Darul Aman after man commits murder
MANSEHRA: A local court sent a woman to Darul Aman after her husband killed his son-in-law in Ghaziabad area of Kolai-Palas.
“We have arrested the man who killed his son-in-law who was recently appointed as constable in the police,” Mohammad Mukhtar, District Police Officer Kolai-Palas told reporters on Tuesday.
He added the second wife of the accused in her early 20s was also produced before the Senior Civil judge who sent her to Darul Aman along with her six-month old daughter.
“The accused could also harm his second wife as he also threatened her before the arrest,” Mukhtar said.
The woman in her statement recorded by the judge under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code stated that she feared for her life as her husband had threatened to kill her.
A police party led by SHO Palas Noor Mohammad arrested Kimat Gul fleeing after killing his son-in-law Waseem Akram.
After lodging the FIR under section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code, the police started the investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the murder.
Meanwhile, one Wajid Shah was killed in the Pulrah area here over enmity.
According to police, the slain was on his way to Pulrah from a nearby village when an armed group opened fire on him, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Pulrah where from he was shifted to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
The body was handed over to the family after doctors completed the medicolegal formalities.
The father of the slain was also killed some years back.
