ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has approved a new incentives package for officers of the federal government serving on deputation under the Balochistan government.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment division, the incentives package would be applicable to officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service and Police Serving posted in Balochistan.
The federal government would provide funds while mechanism for payment of financial incentives would be decided with consultation of the Balochistan government.
Those officers posted in Secretariat of the Balochistan government would get Balochistan allowance equal to one running basic salary while those performing field duties would receive 150 percent of the running basic salary every month.
On completion of one-year service in Balochistan, the officers would also be eligible to one air ticket and its monitization would be equal to two basic salaries.
Deputy Secretary Establishment division, Saba Asim has also sent an official letter to AGPR Islamabad and the chief minister Balochistan. However, an existing package of such officers effective from 2009 would cease to exist.
