Trial of Jinnah House attack accused begins

LAHORE: In a major development in the Jinnah House attack case, the court has started the trial of 266 accused.
Some 130 accused including Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid, Alia Hamza, Sanam Javed and Tayyaba Raja were produced in the court from jail.
Rubina Jameel, who is on bail, also marked the attendance. The court adjourned the further hearing until February 2. The court said that copies of the challan would be distributed to the accused at the next hearing. The prosecution has filed a challan in the Jinnah House attack case in the court.
