Three killed in Kohat firing incidents
KOHAT: Three persons were killed and five others sustained injuries in separate firing incidents in the district on Sunday, official sources said.
They said one Abdul Ali along with his friend Noor Muhammad was on his way in his car in Muhammadzai area when unidentified gunmen fired at them. As a result, Abdul Ali was killed on the spot while Noor Muhammad sustained injuries. The latter succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
The bodies were handed over to the families for burial after carrying out autopsy in the Kohat Development Authority (KDA) Hospital. Meanwhile, one Muhammad Yaqub was on his way in Tough Serai when the Manzoor Khan and Saifur Khan allegedly fired at him.
He was killed on the spot while five passers-by identified as Salman, Muhammad Asim, Muhammad Fawad, Ghulam Nabi and Tauqir Ahmad sustained injuries. The accused escaped. The body and the injured were shifted to the KDA Hospital. The police registered separate cases and started investigation.
