LAHORE: PMLN Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz has said that a party has emerged in Punjab, although its leaders had governed the province for 15 years but had no project to their credit.
Responding to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari without explicitly naming him, Maryam Nawaz made these comments on Thursday while addressing workers in her constituency, NA-119.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted that she could count 1,500 projects initiated by Nawaz Sharif, whereas other parties have done nothing but criticise and make accusations day and night.
She mentioned that there were claims in Punjab that Nawaz Sharif had not yet presented a manifesto. She asserted that Nawaz Sharif would unveil the manifesto in the next few days. “I feel a responsibility to serve you day and night and Nawaz Sharif’s manifesto is evident,” she added.
Pointing to the Orange Line train passing above, she said it symbolised Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to public welfare whenever entrusted with a mandate.
The PMLN leader expressed her desire to serve the people tirelessly. She clarified that she was not a candidate to whom people tell their problems; instead, she is a candidate who has done thorough homework about the issues in her constituency before stepping out of her home.
