The Covid-19 pandemic, coupled with the 2022 floods, has exacerbated the challenges, leading to unhygienic conditions and a lack of resources.
Pharmaceutical companies face accusations of hoarding medicines and arbitrarily raising prices, contributing to shortages and affordability issues. The Ministry of National Health Services urgently needs to address the deteriorating situation, taking swift action to improve both patient care and overall healthcare sector functionality. In light of these pressing concerns, a plea is made for the government to prioritize and enhance the healthcare infrastructure promptly, ensuring a safe and healthy life for all citizens.
