The traffic congestion in Hub is severely exacerbated by vendors being allowed to sell various food items from push carts on both sides of the roads. These vendors likely represent a substantial revenue stream for some. The city administration has also decided to install height barriers at road entrances to limit the passage of heavy vehicles through the city. Ironically, this has led to heavy vehicles circumventing the barriers by unlawfully crossing onto the wrong side of the road and subsequently driving on the divider, further exacerbating the traffic congestion.
We earnestly implore the authorities to appoint a trustworthy and competent chief administrative officer for the city. Even a modestly competent chief administrator would be able to improve things significantly, in my opinion.
