Ex-judge Nazar Akbar made CPLC executive council’s chairman

Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar has appointed Justice (retd) Nazar Akbar as chairman of the executive council of the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC).
According to a notification issued by the home department, Baqar, in exercise of power conferred under Rule (6) sub rule (1) clause (A) of the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (composition, terms of reference, duties, responsibilities and functions) rules 2023, has appointed Justice (retd) Akbar as chairman of the executive council of the CPLC for a period of three years with immediate effect.
