JUIF chief says just system to bring peace & economic prosperity in Pakistan
LAKKI MARWAT: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday only a just system based on Islamic injunctions would put the country on road to peace and economic prosperity.
He said this while speaking at a dastarbandi cermony ar Jamia Halimia. The JUIF chief Pakistan was faced with lack of peace and economic instability because of not complying with the real teachings of Islam.
He said all our problems would vanish if we sarted implementing Islamic injunctions in our practical life. The Maulana lamented that money politics had corrupted the politics in the country, adding this trend needed to be countered.
He said his party had always struggled against the Imperialist forces and vowed to continue the struggle even. The JUIF chief came down hard on those politicians who had grabbed power in the past by dint of money and pledged to challenge them in the coming general elections.
The Maulana was all praise for the role the Madaris or religious seminaries had been playing since long for the glory of Islam and especially mentioned Darul Uloom Deoband in this regard.
