During the meeting, Rajput and election commissioners assessed the preparations and directed concerned officers to collaborate closely.

The officials took notice of the installation of oversized banners and Penaflex at public places in some constituencies. They decided to enforce the code of conduct effectively, with a commitment to removing banners and Penaflex that violate these guidelines from public places and main streets of the city.

District returning officers (DROs) were instructed to communicate in writing with candidates, briefing them on the code of conduct and urging full compliance. Candidates were further advised to refrain from installing oversized banners and Penaflex in public areas and main thoroughfares.

District election commissioners, DROs, and district monitoring officers provided detailed briefings on security plans, polling station setups, CCTV installations at highly sensitive polling stations, communication plans, health plans, and measures for enforcing the code of conduct.

Rajput emphasised the city administration's commitment to ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections in line with Election Commission directives. He urged strict adherence to the Election Commission's guidelines by district returning officers and returning officers.

Joint Provincial Election Commissioners Asgher Sayal and Nazar Hussain, along with Regional Commissioner Abdul Rehman Arain, received briefings on the duties of concerned officers related to election conduct.

Representatives from all seven districts, including district returning officers, district monitoring officers, and returning officers, attended the meeting, presenting their arrangements and preparations for the General Elections. District election commissioners affirmed their commitment to conducting the election with close coordination and cooperation from the DROs.
