LAHORE : Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated state-of-the-art Tajpura Sports Complex at a ceremony on Saturday.
Long delayed Lahore's Tajpura Sports Complex has officially opened its doors, providing a comprehensive recreational center for athletes to enhance their skills and fitness levels. The inaugural ceremony marked the culmination of the Lahore Development Authority's (LDA) efforts in completing the state-of-the-art facilities.
After a seven-year delay in construction, the Tajpura Sports Complex now spans an impressive 12 kanal land, offering a diverse range of over 20 indoor sports facilities catering to both men and women. The facilities include a fully-equipped gym, indoor badminton hall, snooker room, table tennis hall, swimming pool, a dedicated ladies' gym, and a snooker room.
Expressing his satisfaction, CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi praised the accomplishment of the project, acknowledging the commendable achievement despite the delays in its completion. He specifically commended the LDA Director General for delivering cutting-edge gym facilities within the Sports Complex.
During the press briefing, CM Punjab emphasized the government's commitment to ongoing projects and assured the public of continued efforts to enhance recreational and sports facilities for the community.
