“The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, PPP, JUIF and Awami National Party and others must show their performance to the masses when they were ruling the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the country turn by turn,” he said adding that the leaders of these political parties had always deceived masses with catchy slogans.

Addressing the party gatherings in Rashakai, Tangi Khattak, Taru Jabba, and Wapda Colony, he said that the leaders of other political parties had lost the trust of people due to their greed for powers and wealth, as they had never implemented their parties’ manifestos in letter and spirit.

The PTIP candidate for NA-34 and PK-89, Dr Imran Khattak, PK-85 aspirant Ibrahim Khattak, PK-86 candidate Ismail Khattak and others also addressed the gatherings.

He said that the masses were bearing the brunt of so-called politicians’ deception, who had always worked for their own interests.

Pervez Khattak came down hard on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder and former prime minister Imran Khan for deceiving the masses with hollow slogans, including ‘change’ and ‘Naya Pakistan.’ Imran Khan had done nothing for the welfare of people and development of the country despite taking huge loans, he added.

He said ‘Tabdeeli Khan’ was now completely out of the election arena and his PTI would not exist after the February 8 general elections.

Pervez Khattak said that he had served the people of KP when he was the chief minister from 2013 to 2018 and that his rival political parties were afraid of his popularity and looking for excuses to delay the general elections.

Pervez Khattak claimed that he had taken a number of practical steps for developing this region, unlike his predecessors whom he accused of paying only lip-service
