Woman, daughter injured on resistance

HAFIZABAD: A woman and her seven-year-old daughter were shot at and injured on resistance at Mohallah Qadirabad on Saturday.
Two dacoits entered the house of Muhammad Ashraf and looted cash and other valuables. They also shot at and injured Ashraf’s wife Haleema Sadia and daughter Khadeja when the family offered resistance. The injured were rushed to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition.

It was said by Jamaat-e-Islami leader Dr Fareed Piracha while addressing the Ittehad-e-Ummat Conference held here on Saturday. The moot was chaired by Syed Haroon Ali Gilani, Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Mian Mir, Lahore. Piracha said that the Muslim Ummah should join hands to foil the nefarious designs of the anti-Islamic forces. He asked the Muslims to gather on one platform after forgetting their differences. Sibtain Haidar Sabzwari, Mirza Ajmal advocate, DBA president Muhammad Farooq Khokhar, MPA Malik Fiaz Ahmad Awan, Safdar Kharral and Qaisar Munir Khokhar also addressed the conference.
