PESHAWAR: A leader of a religious outfit was shot and injured by unidentified attackers on Thursday.

Reports said Amjad Farooqi, spokesman for a local religious outfit, was shot and injured when armed men opened fire on him. Reports added he was shifted to a hospital and his condition was stated to be stable.
