MoU signed
LAHORE:A private university and a journalist association entered into an agreement whereby 25 percent discount in fees will be granted to the students of journalists’ families.
In this regard, a special MoU signing ceremony was organised here at Minhaj University Lahore campus at Township on Thursday. The MUL Director Media Muhammad Nadeem Chaudhry on behalf of the University and Lahore Journalists Association’s President Khalid Ibrahim on behalf of LJA signed the agreement. Under the agreement, the students of journalists’ families of will be able to avail 25 percent discount in various courses in the university. LJA Chairman Ahsan Zia, Secretary Amer Malik, Senior Vice President Zaheer Sheikh, Vice President Ijaz Butt, members of the governing body Ali Jafri, Waqas Khalil and columnist Anas Zia were also present. Earlier, LJA delegation also visited the Aghosh, an institution established for the support, education and training of orphans.
