ISLAMABAD/LAHORE: Without naming the PMLN Quaid Nawaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday said there was a “Sahib” who wanted to become the prime minister for the fourth time.

Addressing a public meeting at Rahuki near Badin on the martyrdom day of Muhammad Fazal Rahu, he said this “Sahib” had no ideology, no manifesto, no election campaign, no voters appeal and was asking someone else to arrange votes for him in the elections.

“The politics he is doing for the chair foments hatred and division. He is harming Pakistan and the people for the chair. He is not worried about the people but about becoming the prime minister for the fourth time. Whenever this person was made prime minister, poor peoplewere harmed,” he said.

“Two parties are competing in the elections. This is the tiger that sucks the blood of people but we will hunt it down and not allow it to become prime minister for the fourth time.” He said a person was given a chance three times but failed every time and asked why he should be considered for the office of the prime minister for the fourth time.

He urged the people to make his party successful on February 8 so that as prime minister he could rid the nation of all problems, including inflation, unemployment and poverty.

Meanwhile, addressing a public meeting in Shahdadpur, Sanghar district, he said the PMLN in Punjab and a group of political orphans contesting elections on the symbol of star in Sindh had no ideology or manifesto. “They are looking towards someone else to win the elections, but that era has gone,” he said.

The PPP chairman said that it was the stance of PMLN and GDA that there was no money in the country, so the 18th Amendment and NFC should be abolished. “I was in Islamabad for 18 months; I know there is money and resources in the country. But you (PML-N and its allies) don’t want to spend money on the people,” he added.

“Currently there are 17 such ministries in the Centre which are not needed,” he said and reiterated that he would invest the amount spent annually on those 17 ministries on the welfare of people.

He said the PPP candidates were in the fray for both National Assembly seats in Sanghar district. “One is my sister Shazia Marri and the other is my brother Alauddin Junejo. You have to make them victorious with a big lead,” he said.

APP adds: Meanwhile, addressing the inaugural ceremony of PPP election office in NA-127, the PPPP President Asif Ali Zardari claimed that Bilawal would secure victory in NA-127 and form the government after elections.

He highlighted the enduring nature of PPP’s political journey and related his encounters with the inmates during his incarceration. He claimed that Bilawal would lead the party to victory and eventually become the prime minister.
