A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed by the government to probe the social media campaign against Supreme Court judges. The JIT will submit a preliminary report to the Interior Ministry within 15 days. This is a commendable step taken by the incumbent government.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan is the highest appellate court of the country and the court of last resort. Social media should not hang over the workings of the apex court and malicious campaigns against its justices must be stopped.
