ISLAMABAD. The Federal Ombudsman for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace, Fauzia Waqar, has summoned the former chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal in personal capacity for the upcoming hearing in the Tayyaba Gul harassment case.
Tayyaba Gul’s complaint against Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal and others was heard in the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat here on Tuesday.
The federal ombudsman said that Javed Iqbal had been advised to rest for 10 days after an application was filed for immunity.
Tayyaba Gul requested to call the former NAB chairman whenever he recovers. Ms Waqar said that the answer to the allegations should be submitted at the next hearing and the case should be decided on time. She summoned 12 accused, including Javed Iqbal and NAB investigation officer Imran Dogar, in personal capacity for the next hearing.
