JI election campaign in Islamabad
Islamabad: Retired Ambassador Javed Hafeez has extended his support to participate in election campaign of Mian Muhammad Aslam, a candidate for the National Assembly from Islamabad.
In a meeting with Mian Aslam, the veteran diplomat having vast experience in Middle East and Saudi Arabia said that he because of his performance and continuous contact with people, he would not only give his vote to Mian Aslam but also support him for February 8 elections. He said that Mian Aslam is the best candidate from NA-46 Islamabad saying that traditional political and politicians had disappointed people.
Meanwhile, addressing women youth convention of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Mian Aslam, the JI candidate from NA-46 said that the society could make progress only when women get respect. Mian Aslam said that he never appointed residents of Islamabad and would always continue to stand with them for addressing their problems.
