Minister seeks youths’ role in growth
Javed Akram said the development of any country is connected with peace and without peace, the true development of a country is impossible
LAHORE:Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Prof Dr Javed Akram said that in today's world, the youth should play their due role in the country's development. He expressed these views while addressing a ‘Peace and Economics Summit’ held at a local hotel here on Monday.
Dr Javed Akram said the development of any country is connected with peace and without peace, true development of a country is impossible. Peace is the fundamental right of every citizen of Pakistan and it is the main ingredient for investment, he added.
The minister further said that the caretaker government of Punjab is responsible for conducting clean, transparent and peaceful elections. At the end of the summit, the provincial health minister distributed awards among the guests.
Faheem ur Rehman Sehgal, M Ali Mian, Additional IG Riaz Nazeer Gara, M Nadeem Bhatti, M Abu Bakr, Ahsan Yar Babar and Bilal Khan were among the participants of the event held under the auspices of AS Foundation.
