RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has rejected any possibility of an electoral alliance with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
In an informal conversation with journalists in the Adiala jail courtroom on Monday, Khan said he was put in jail under the “London Plan” and there was an attempt to destroy the PTI.He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif always played in collusion with umpires. He added that “an umpire gave a no-ball” recently, predicting that something very bad would happen to them.
On a question from a journalist that if an electoral alliance between the PTI with the PPP was possible, Khan responded that his party would not form an alliance with the PPP in any circumstances.
He said the cases against the PML-N leader had been closed, and no one was asking Sharif, Asif Zardari and Maryam Nawaz about the bullet-proof cars they obtained from the Toshakhana. The PTI founder demanded that the cipher case be tried in an open court so that the people could know the truth. He said they asked him why he had not kept the cipher secret.
On January 13, the Supreme Court while hearing the PTI’s intra-party elections and the election symbol case declared the decision of the Peshawar High Court null and void and took back the symbol of the bat from the PTI.
