Leader says PMLN to strengthen economy
NOWSHERA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader and candidate for NA-33 and PK-88 Ikhtiar Wali on Sunday said that if voted to power, his party would remove the sense of deprivation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a gathering here, he said that the PMLN had the ability to address the challenges facing the country. He welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court pertaining to the intra-party elections of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and said that the party had reached its logical end.
The PMLN leaders said that the Imran Khan government had buried the country under huge debt and had failed to deliver on the economic front. Several workers of the Pakistan People’s Party, including Ayaz Paracha, Saud Paracha and Danial Paracha, announced joining the PMLN on this occasion.
He welcomed the new entrants to the party and offered them the PMLN’s caps. Ikhtiar Wali, who is a former member of the provincial assembly, urged the people to vote for the PMLN to turn the country into an economic power.
He said that the PMLN leadership had always served the nation and would not let down the people if the party came to power. Ikhtiar Wali promised that the PMLN would tackle the issue of unemployment, poverty, rising inflation and terrorism.
