FAISALABAD: The former opposition leader in the National Assembly, Raja Riaz Ahmed, has decided to withdraw from the election race. He nominated his son, Raja Daniyal, as the candidate from NA 104 in his place and PMLN issued a candidature ticket to Daniyal.
While submitting Raja Daniyal’s nomination to the returning officer, Raja Riaz stated that he would not be able to participate in the election due to health issues. He expressed his gratitude to the leadership of PMLN and promised to address the basic issues of the people of his constituency.
