In the aftermath, both police and rescue teams transported the injured women to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for necessary medical attention. Fortunately, most of the injured individuals were discharged from the hospital after receiving adequate medical aid, and there were no reports of severe injuries.

Families of the injured were informed of the incident through phone calls. Upon reaching the hospital, the families expressed dissatisfaction with the response from the factory administration.

Rizwan Ali, the factory’s administration manager, addressed the media, revealing that the company had organised a Quran recitation ceremony on the ground floor. Women employees utilised the cargo lift to move between floors, with the elevator containing 16 women, including the lift operator. The accident unfolded as the lift, positioned at a height of 10 feet, fell due to technical faults. Three women remain under treatment, and if necessary, those with injuries might be transferred to a private hospital, according to Ali.
