“We have fielded aspirants on almost all provincial assemblies’ constituencies in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will install our government in the province after winning the elections with an overwhelming majority,” he told reporters here.

The former senator said that the party chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, was personally heading the parliamentary board, which was not only awarding tickets to the strongest possible aspirants but also monitoring the evolving political situation in the country.

“The political parties are afraid of JUIF’s popularity, particularly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and involved in baseless propaganda but such elements would be disappointed in the February 8 general elections results,” he added.

The JUIF leader said that his party had also fielded candidates in the Hazara division’s seven national and 18 provincial assembly constituencies.“The former provincial minister, Ibrar Hussain alias Iqbal Tanoli, is contesting on JUIF ticket in PK-39,” he added.

The JUIF leader said that the Pakistan People’s Party had finalised seat adjustments in the district and some little issues were still under discussion and would shortly be sorted out.“Maulana Mufti Kifayatullah is the strongest candidate of our party in NA-15, and we are also in talks with the PPP to withdraw its aspirant Zargul Khan to support our party’s candidate,” he added. He said his party would sweep the elections in Kohistan and Torghar districts.
