ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesman Tuesday clarified that the piece that recently appeared in the foreign publication, The Economist, was authored by the party’s founder Imran Khan and that there was no use of artificial intelligence in writing it.
“It is clarified that the news/reports carried by local media on the contents and mode of publication of an article by the PTI Chairman-for-life in a foreign publication The Economist does not reflect the actual state of facts regarding the matter,” he said in a statement issued here.
He explained the said piece was authored by the PTI Chairman-for-life, Imran Khan, vindictively incarcerated at Central Jail, Rawalpindi. In no way, it was compiled through the use of artificial means including artificial intelligence.
In his piece, Imran poured criticism on the establishment and the caretaker governments at the federal and provincial levels. He alleged that his party was not being allowed any playing field and that any elections under such circumstances would be a farce.
Media had reported quoting Imran in a media talk at Adiala Jail that he had verbally dictated the article. It was also reported that the ex-PM said he did not write the essay himself, rather it was based on points he had dictated, which were put into words through the use of artificial intelligence.
