PU awards PhD degrees

LAHORE:Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to 10 of its scholars. According to details, Muhammad Farhan Khan has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of International Relations, Asma Ashraf in the subject of Botany, Hafiz Arshad Iqbal in the subject of Islamic Studies, Fatima Ishrat in the subject of Botany, Zahid Javed in the subject of Statistics, Maira Saleem in the subject of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Mobina Manzoor in the subject of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Muhammad Afzal in the subject of Chemistry, Mudassar Hussain in the subject of Communication Studies and Shehar Bano in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics.

Seminar on Pak-Turkiye ties

Punjab University’s Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) will organise a seminar to celebrate of Turkiye’s 100 years and 75 years of relations with Pakistan at Undergraduate Block on Wednesday (today).

On this occasion, Dr Furkan Hamit, Head of Urdu Department Turkish Radio & Television Translator of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will address the seminar.
