Makran is grappling with a shortage of medicines in hospitals and clinics. The medicines for headaches, fever, diabetes, and many essential medications for children are often not available at clinics and pharmacies these days. Patients suffering from emergencies and various other medical conditions are being left in the lurch.
According to some shopkeepers, essential medication is not being provided by the relevant companies. What medicines are available are being sold at high prices, causing significant distress for most patients. The health authorities should take action to ensure the timely supply of medicines.
