ANP seeks action against facilitators of terrorists

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party’s (ANP) provincial president Aimal Wali Khan on Monday lamented the loss of lives of six policemen in the Bajaur attack and said police and countrymen were paying the price of favours shown to terrorists in the past.
Reacting to the terror act in the Bajaur tribal district which also left 28 cops injured, he said acts of terrorism on a daily basis reflected the seriousness of the situation. He said the ANP condemned the attack on the truck carrying cops for the security of the anti-polio teams in Bajaur.
“When will those people who rehabilitated 40,000 terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa be made accountable?” he asked.Aimal Wali called for bringing to justice those who had released terrorists with a single stroke of pen.
He said it was time to take strict legal action against those who were solely responsible for this situation.Aimal Wali said his party stood by the families of the cops who lost their dear ones in the terror act in Bajaur.
