Leader says JUIF ready for seat adjustment talks
SWABI: Maulana Fazal Ali, central naib amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUIF) said that his party doors are open for talks for seat adjustment at the district level.
Talking to journalists on Monday, the Maulana who is contesting election from NA-19, Swabi II, said his party was ready for electoral alliance with any political or religious party except for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“The PTI weakened the country and its leadership has worked to further the agenda of others,” he said.“It was PTI which destroyed every institution in the country and misled the youths and masses,” he said, adding that was the reason that its leaders were now facing various cases.
He said his party leaders had held talks with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders but alliance with them was not possible because they had given priority to the constituencies which were on the JUIF priority list. Maulana Fazal Ali said the JUIF had a strong position in the district and the election campaign was in full swing.
