The local tribes of Turi Bangash have called an emergency meeting of jirga today to devise a plan of action about the attacks on passenger vehicles.
Former federal minister, Sajid Turi, condemned the attack and expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation.
He demanded the government to take strict steps to save the lives of innocent people. “The passenger vehicles have come under frequent attacks and the government should take measures on an emergency basis to provide security to the people,” he added.
Sajid Turi also demanded the authorities to bring the culprits behind the gruesome incidents to justice.
It may be mentioned that unknown miscreants have been targeting passenger vehicles and private cars with automatic weapons and pelting them with stones for the last several months. Several persons had been killed and injured in these attacks.
