Fog disrupts flight operations

LAHORE: Due to fog in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, flight operations remained affected.
Owing to persistent fog in these regions, 28 domestic and international flights were cancelled. According to aviation sources, a total of 211 flights have been cancelled in the first week of the new year due to adverse weather conditions.
As per the flight schedule, the Dubai to Islamabad flight landed in Lahore, and the Sharjah to Islamabad flight landed in Karachi. Additionally, a private airline’s Muscat to Sialkot flight landed in Lahore. Furthermore, more than 25 flights from various airports across the country have been rescheduled.
