ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party on Saturday submitted written comments to the Supreme Court regarding the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto reference.
A nine-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, is scheduled to take up the presidential reference on the matter on Monday.
In its comments, the PPP provided references from various books and included details of an interview with former chief justice Naseem Hassan Shah.
The top court is set to hear the reference on January 8. The reference was initially moved in 2011 by the then-president of Pakistan, seeking a review of the case.
