LAHORE : People's representatives from various UCs of PP-149 continued to join Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Saturday.
The joining process of public representatives in IPP’s Lahore Division Secretariat started early in the morning and continued till evening. The delegations of public representatives had separate meetings with member Central Executive Committee IPP Shoaib Siddiqui before joining the party.
Youth representative Waqas Khan and Tahir Shah from UC-122 announced to join the party along with a large number of colleagues while Zahid Hussain from UC-44 also joined the IPP with his colleagues. Rana Shahzad, M Ali, Rana Ilyas, Farooq Ahmed also wore the flag of the IPP to witness their joining. Apart from them, youth representative Hamza from UC-153 also joined hands with the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party. Majid Maqsood, Sheikh Shahid Mehmood and many other voters from UC-44 and UC-123 joined IPP, increasing the political strength of the party. IPP leader Shoaib Siddiqui welcomed the UC leaders of PP-149.
Apart from this, the delegations and representatives of other constituencies also held meetings with IPP leader throughout the day. Shahbaz Tufail Sohotra from Mian Mir Colony met the central leader IPP. Apart from them, Seth Ali, Seth Fahad, Mirza Hasan and their colleagues from Shahdara also called on IPP leader. Moreover, Ghulam Dastgeer Butt, Moon Chohan, Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah, Basharat Iqbal Gujjar, Ch Sharaft Ali, Imran Qadri and others also met the former MPA at the party office.
