LAHORE : ‘The Lure of Wasli,’ a mesmerising exhibition featuring 35 miniature artworks meticulously crafted by 12 distinguished artists was unveiled at the Alhamra Art Gallery on Saturday. The exhibition will continue till January 12.
The grand opening ceremony saw the convergence of luminaries in the art world with Prof Nazish Atta Ullah, celebrated for her significant contributions to the arts, attended the event alongside renowned artists Salima Hashmi and Bilal Ahmed.
This exhibition, a celebration of artistic mastery, casts a spotlight on Wasli as a unique medium, exploring its nuanced possibilities through a myriad of expressions. The artists bring their distinctive perspectives to life, creating a visual symphony that resonates with cultural richness.
Prof Nazish, on this occasion said, "The 'Lure of Wasli' is a testament to the enduring beauty of traditional art forms.
