‘Serving the suffering humanity a hallmark of health professionals’
Prof Al-Fareed Zafar urged the administration doctors to improve the facilities for the treatment of patients as well as their families
LAHORE : Ameer Uddin Medical College/PGMI Principal Prof Dr Al-Fareed Zafar has said that determination to serve the suffering humanity in the best possible way is the hallmark of the healthcare professionals while the traditions of the past will also be kept even in the year 2024.
He added that patient friendly policies will be continued so that people coming from other areas of Punjab and provinces for treatment in LGH can get timely medical facilities.
Principal Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar said this while presiding over a high-level meeting organised for the review and approval of the Annual Performance Report of LGH on Saturday.
MS Prof Dr Nudrat Sohail, Director Emergency Khizar Hayat Gondal, administrative doctors, Dr Laila Shafiq, Dr Abdul Aziz and others were also present. MS while talking in the meeting said that under the new system introduced by the PIT Board, the data of outdoor patients is being stored and this system provides full information about the provision of free medicines to the patients and this is increasing the confidence of citizens at Government hospitals.
