Cops praised for New Year night security

LAHORE : Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana lauded the performance of officers and officials of Lahore police for ensuring security and traffic issues during the New Year’s celebrations.
Addressing a meeting, the CCPO appreciated the cops for ensuring foolproof security for citizens and their family members at parks, recreation centres, and public places. Highlighting the success of comprehensive planning, he noted the peaceful passage of New Year's night in Lahore. During the New Year's night, 41 cases against illegal weapon holders were registered and 49 accused were detained.
