CCPO approves new police stations
LAHORE : Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana Friday reviewed progress on development projects of police department.
Chairing a meeting, the CCPO approved new police stations under the Smart Police Stations programme.
In the meeting transfer of police stations to the Special Initiative Protocol and advancements in land acquisition for the construction of new police stations were discussed. The participants came to know that construction and rehabilitation work for all police stations in Lahore would be finalised by December 31. The CCPO granted approval to new police stations under the Smart Police Stations programme.
The meeting gave updates on the identification process for Shirakot, Millat Park, Shadman, Samanabad, Ghalib Market, Islampura, and Batapur police stations and completion of initial phase.
