NOWSHERA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTIP) Chairman Pervez Khattak said on Thursday Imran Khan fooled the people with false promises of change and accountability.
Speaking at various party meetings, he accused the former prime minister Imran Khan of exploiting the public trust to grab power.
“Imran Khan had grabbed power by claiming that he would give 10 million jobs and construct 5 million
houses for the poor. But these promises were never honoured,” he said.
Pervez Khattak asserted that instead of delivering on promises, the Imran-led government divided resources among themselves.
He expressed satisfaction with his decision to separate from PTI, stating that he prioritised national interests over personal gains.
The PTIP chief said that his party was getting popular with the masses even in a short span of time and the joining of a large number of people showed that fact.
